REUBEN Reid scored a fabulous volley to give Argyle a 1-0 victory over Accrington Stanley, and Derek Adams has praised his technique.
In a tight game with several chances for either side, Reuben's goal ended up as the difference between the two sides.
Derek said: "It was an outstanding strike from Reuben, when the ball came down he was always going to score and it was a fantastic opportunist goal from him."
"He had one at Mansfield earlier on in the season where he has hit the bar and it doesn't go in. It's 1-1 and we should probably go on and win that game.
"You have got to have ability to do what he does. He's watched it come out of the sky and he's put it away with the technique that he has."
Derek was quick to substitute Reuben after Argyle's striker pulled up with an injury. The Pilgrims travel to Oxford on Tuesday night.
"We've got a game on Tuesday night so I thought as quickly as we could get him off the better for us looking to head to Tuesday's match."
"I'm not sure yet, I haven't checked. But hopefully it's not too serious. I took him off very quickly. Hopefully [he will be alright] for Tuesday night."
