H is Back

ARGYLE have re-signed Hiram Boateng.

The 20-year-old has signed a loan deal to return to Home Park until the end of the season.

The Crystal Palace midfielder made 19 appearances in a loan spell at Home Park earlier this season, and made a huge impression on everyone at the club with some assured performances in the Pilgrims' engine room. He scored two goals - against Crawley and Exeter, in consecutive wins - and was certainly one of Argyle's standout performers in the first half of the season.

However, his initial loan period ended in January, and despite Argyle's best attempts, Palace kept hold of him. Hiram made the substitutes bench on several occasions after returning to Selhurst Park, coming off once to good effect as Palace won at Swansea.

Argyle boss Derek Adams has made no secret of his desire to recapture Hiram and, just a day before the loan window closes, he has got his man.

H will be reunited with his squad number of 20, as well as his team-mates, as Argyle head north to play Morecambe this Friday.
