The DJM Takeover is Back

ARGYLE’S Sky Bet League Two game against Blackpool at Home Park on Tuesday is being taken over by more than 2,500 young players and coaches from Plymouth’s Nash & Co Devon Junior and Minor League.

The Pilgrims are delighted to be hosting the second annual #DJMTakeover following the success of last season’s debut event, when local youngsters packed out the Theatre of Greens to watch Argyle beat Stevenage 3-2.

The event is being sponsored by Argyle partners Bidvest Foodservice in Lee Mill, who are proud to have supported the Pilgrims for the past three years, working with the club to provide a great food offering which gives their visitors a wide range of great quality products.

Nash & Co Devon Junior and Minor League representative Chris French said: “The league’s partnership with the club has grown again this season and we’ve already seen a number of our players come to games throughout the season as guests of the club.

“It has been great to work with the club and we are looking forward to future events with Argyle as the players of the future watch today’s stars at Home Park in their push for promotion back to League One.

“We really appreciate Bidvest’s sponsorship of tonight’s event.  The company, who already sponsor two of our teams, have enabled 147 of our teams to attend tonight’s game from 46 of our clubs. We look forward to working with Bidvest in the future.”

The youngsters will be hoping to see Argyle beat the Seasiders for the second time this season and close the gap on league leaders Doncaster Rovers to a single point with just 11 games of the season left.

The match kicks off at 7.30pm.
