A Time of the Signs
THE Senior Greens have driven a series of fundraising events that have led to a number of Argyle supporters' groups raising a fantastic £4,300 towards a new electronic information board for Home Park.
Supporters' groups, including the Plymouth Branch, PASALB, the Green Taverners, PACSA and the 50/50 Lottery, have come together to raise half the £8,600 cost of the board.
That sum has been matched by Jane Hallett, and a cheque for £4,300 was handed to Jane at the monthly Senior Greens' meeting in the Green Taverners' Suite on Thursday, at which she and husband Simon, Argyle's vice-chairman and co-owner, were guests.
The new board will be located outside the Devonport end and will help the Green Army by providing up-to-date match-day information.
The Senior Greens have also raised £600 towards retractable barriers to help manage match-day queues.
Everyone at Home Park would like to pass on their thanks to Jane, the Senior Greens, and the supporters' groups for their kind contributions as we continue to improve the match-day experience for all our supporters.
