PORTUGUESE forward Ruben Lameiras will be the one addition to the Argyle squad for the weekend visit of Accrington Stanley in Sky Bet League One.
Illness forced Lameiras out of the vital win at Rochdale last Saturday and Argyle boss Derek Adams has been further boosted by a long-awaited return to training for defender Scott Wootton.
Niall Canavan is also close to joining training and Conor Grant not too far away in an improving injury situation for the Pilgrims ahead of a busy Christmas period.
“We’ve got the same squad as we had at Rochdale but Ruben is back from illness,” said Derek.
“Scott Wootton will be back in training this week. Niall Canavan’s ankle is still sore, we’re hopeful he will be back in training soon but he won’t be in for Saturday.
“Conor Grant is improving but we’re not sure if it [will be ready] before the start of the New Year. We would like Conor Grant, Scott Wootton and Niall Canavan to be back as soon as possible.
“If that is the case, we would have everyone fit.”
