Draw-chester

Pilgrims Held in Friendly at the Avenue

20 July 2018

A YOUNG Argyle side played out an entertaining goal-less draw at Dorchester Town on Friday night.

The Pilgrims had the better of first-half affairs on the 3G at the Avenue, using the ball well and creating chances.

The second-half was a much more even contest as the Evostik League South hosts’ experience began to tell on their new 3G surface.

Our best chances fell to forward Klaidi Lolos, while, at the other end, goalkeeper Michael Cooper had to be at his best to maintain parity.

On Saturday, also on a 3G surface, this time at Marjons, we won 5-0 with Rubin Wilson scoring twice alongside goals from Aaron Goulty, Klaidi Lolos and a trialist.
