Coach Leaving Early

Traffic Congestion on Saturday

15 August 2019

SUPPORTERS travelling to Rodney Parade for our Sky Bet League Two clash with Newport County on Saturday are advised to leave a little earlier than planned.

This is due to the autumn international series rugby match between Wales and England, taking place in Cardiff with a 2:15pm kick-off.

While Cardiff is the best part of 20 miles from Newport, where Argyle are playing, it is likely that there will be significant congestion on the M4, which is the main arterial route from the Severn Bridge to Cardiff – passing Newport on the way.

With this in mind, we are also advising supporters who are travelling on our official supporters’ coaches that we have moved the departure time forward from the originally stated 10am to 9:30am.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but our priority with this service is to ensure that the Green Army arrive in ample time for kick-off.
