Zak Attack
ARGYLE are delighted to announce the signing of Scottish youth international striker Zak Rudden on an initial sixth-month loan from Rangers.
Zak, 19, is highly thought of at Ibrox by manager Steven Gerrard and the backroom staff. He successfully spent the whole of season on loan at Falkirk, scoring 12 goals in 31 appearances in the Scottish Championship.
Boasting international pedigree, he has been capped by Scotland for the U16s, U17s and U19s. Zak’s ability to find the back of the net has been equally evident for his country – especially for the U19s, scoring six goals in 14 appearances.
He has form against the Pilgrims’ first-team manager, Ryan Lowe, too, having netted in a 6-0 pre-season friendly victory over Lowe’s previous side, Bury, last season.
Welcome to Home Park, Zak.
The deal for Zak Rudden is subject to the receipt of international clearance.
