Trust Nominated For Nurse Plus Award
The Argyle Community Trust have been shortlisted in the Marsh Commercial ‘For the People’ awards, recognising the brilliant work taking place in the community.
The ‘Tackling Loneliness Together’ project has proven to be a transformative success, and the Trust’s award nomination comes with a chance of winning £5,000 funding towards sustaining the project in the longer term.
Argyle were one of 32 EFL member organisations to be chosen to receive funding from the EFL Trust to be able to expand activities under the EFL’s campaign against loneliness, which Includes making phone-calls to isolated individuals, online social groups, pen pal schemes, walking groups and socially distanced ‘garden gate’ conversations – supporting people in the local community when they need it most.
In order to make it through to the next round of the awards process, and the subsequent chance of winning £5,000, the Trust needs your support.
