VACANCY: Head of Cornwall Recruitment and Development

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Pilgrims' ambitious Academy set-up, helping to shape the future of grass-roots football in Cornwall.

The club is looking to appoint a Head of Cornwall Recruitment and Development. The position will be integral to the Pilgrims' ambitious new plans in the county of Cornwall, including a refreshed Cornwall Player Pathway, and the creation of two Elite Coaching Hubs in the region.

The successful individual will work with the Cornwall FA and Argyle’s Community Trust to develop the Club Partner Strategy and Player Pathway within Cornwall, providing continuous professional development opportunities across a number of different areas.

The role requires a DBS check and verification of qualifications and experience, as well as successful references. Applicants must possess a strong work ethic, the ability to work flexibly and independently, and a working knowledge of local youth leagues and schools within Cornwall.

Candidates must hold the UEFA B Licence and FA Youth Award, alongside willingness to work towards the FA Level 2 Talent Identification and FA Advanced Youth Award qualifications.

It is an exciting time to be joining the team at Home Park, with the club on its way to realising the ambition of becoming a financially sustainable Championship-level club in the coming years.
