Big Green Lottery Winner
We are delighted to announce that Mike Greening from Plympton has won the annual Big Green Lottery draw for £12,000.
After the draw was conducted and independently verified, Argyle manager Ryan Lowe made the call to inform Mike, a Pilgrim fan for 50 years, that he was the winner.
“I was so pleased to get the call from Ryan, who has kindly said he will present the cheque when restrictions allow, and it would be lovely if we could also have Gary Sawyer at the presentation because he has been such a good servant to the club,” said Mike.
“I am 76 next week, so it’s a lovely birthday present. When the call came in, I nearly fell through the floor.
“My wife, Ann, and I have followed Argyle for 50 years but it really started properly when my son Keith had a paper round, and we would do that for him on a Saturday, so he could go to Home Park.
“We could attend evening matches and, before I retired from the dockyard, I would sort shifts to ensure we could go to games. Ann was a nurse and she would do the same thing.”
Please enjoy the video of Mike receiving this wonderful news.
