After impressing during a loan spell at Bradford City in the first half of the 2022/23 season, Tyreik Wright moved to Home Park from Aston Villa in January 2023. 

Wright, from County Cork in Ireland, headed to England aged 15 to sign for the Villans, and would turn pro whilst in the West Midlands. Tyreik headed on on load spells to Walsall, Salford City and Colchester United, but it was at Bradford where he really got rolling. 

Bantams fans took to the direct, speedy attacker as he scored four times in 17 games at Valley Parade. Wright also has honours at various age groups for his native Ireland, up to Under-21s. 

Tyreik played six times as Argyle sealed promotion from Sky Bet League One as champions in 2022/23.
