Midfielder Hampson joined the Greens on a free transfer in December 2025, having most recently played for Seton Hall in South Orange, New Jersey, in the NCAA Division 1 level of American collegiate soccer. 

Across her four years in the Big East Conference, Hampson featured 75 times for the Pirates, scoring four goals and providing six assists.

Prior to her time across the Atlantic, she began her career at Everton, playing through the age groups at the Toffees’ Academy, and was also a part of the Welsh youth set-up, featuring in the Under-19s European Championship qualifying round group stage games.
