St Luke's Hospice
Home Park’s Lyndhurst Road Stand will become known as the St Luke’s Hospice Lyndhurst Road Stand after four local businesses gifted the stand sponsorship to the local charity.
Classic Builders, Beehive Homes, Bright Solicitors and Jem Scaffolding have come together to fund the renaming of the stand to shine a light on the local hospice for the next two years.
This sponsorship will provide a brilliant platform for fundraising but also raise awareness of all the incredible work done daily by the Plymouth-based hospice.
A spokesperson for the four businesses said: “St Luke's, in some shape or form will have a connection to the whole of our community at some point in our lives.
“Together we want to raise the profile of this fantastic charity and support the hard work of the staff, nurses, and volunteers.
“We are also aware of many other great local charities, who are supported by people across Plymouth, and we strive to continue supporting them, as they support us, making it a true local team effort.”
Argyle Chief Executive Andrew Parkinson added: “The community is at the heart of everything we do here at Argyle and this partnership aligns with the values we live by every day.
“St Luke’s is an important charity to everyone in the region and does incredible work for those impacted by life-limiting illnesses and their families.
“We want to thank all four businesses for their support in making this stand sponsorship possible and for showcasing such an important charity in Plymouth, and beyond.”
Argyle Partnerships Manager Keira Bassett added: “Partnerships such as this show the strength of Argyle’s importance to Devon and Cornwall as well as highlighting the array of opportunities partnering with the football club offers.
