2026 Nominees

Each year, five former Argyle players are elevated to the status of 'Icon'.

As we did last year, our Forever Green panel, headed by Kevin Nancekivell, have selected three men to be inducted - Paul Mariner, Graham Carey, and Johnny Newman.

To decide on the remaining two Icons of 2026, we have selected two lists of former players, across the eras. Supporters can select one name from each list, and the person with the most votes from each will become a Forever Green Icon.

You will be allowed to vote for one player from List A, and another from List B. 

Voting is open now and closes at 6pm on Thursday, 5 February.
