Ladjie Released

LADJIE Soukouna has been released.

The French utility man, who was told by manager Carl Fletcher earlier this week that he was surplus to requirements, is now free to find another club.

Ladjie was signed for Argyle by previous manager Peter Reid in July last year after being released by French Championnat National side US Créteil-Lusitanos.

He made his debut on the opening day of last season in the 1-1 draw at Shrewsbury Town and scored his first and only Pilgrims’ goal two months later in a 2–2 Home Park draw with Accrington Stanley.

He has made 22 appearances for Argyle in total, five as substitute, although only seven of those starts were after Fletch became manager.

Everybody at Home Park thanks Ladjie for his contribution to the Green and wishes him well in his future career.
