15 - Shades of Yesterday

ARGYLE have gone back to the future with their squad numbers for the new npower League 2 season.

Evergreen midfielder Paul Wotton has been reunited with the number 15 shirt that he made his own during his first stint at Home Park between 1995-2008.
He wore number 19 when he returned to Home Park earlier this year, as 15 had been handed to fellow Plymothian Luke Young.
However, Luke, the fans' Young Player of the Season last year, has generously allowed Wottsy to have his old number back for the new campaign. In return, Young steps into former skipper Simon Walton's number 8 shirt.
Wottsy, who will be 35 the day before Argyle kick off their league campaign at home to Aldershot on August 18, is 12 games short of reaching number three on the all-time Pilgrims' appearances list, having played 456 time for his hometown club.
New signings Paris Cowan-Hall and Rene Gilmartin have been allocated numbers 7 and 20 respectively, while Maxime Blanchard (4) and goalkeeper Jake Cole (1) have inherited the shirts left vacant by the transition to full-time management of Carl Fletcher and Romain Larrieu.
The number nine shirt, last worn by a non-loan Argyle player as long ago as October 2010, has been given to Nick Chadwick.
