Argyle Two A Tee

ARGYLE have issued two commemorative T-shirts to mark the start of the new 2012-13 campaign.

The first marks the visit of Portsmouth in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday, August 14.
In recognition of both side's naval heritage, and with a nod to tradition, the green t-shirt features two battle cruisers facing off under the legend ‘Battle of the Ports’, one marked ‘Plymouth’ and the other ‘Portsmouth’.

The design is completed by the slogan ‘Up the Guz!’, the Royal Navy’s name for Devonport and the equivalent to Portsmouth’s ‘Pompey’.
The second shirt is an ‘Argyle On Tour’ shirt, which, on the back, spoofs the Pilgrims’ away npower League games in the manner of a rock band’s touring itinerary.






Under the legend ‘The Road to Rochdale’ – the Pilgrims play their final away game at Spotland, the home of Rochdale – the reverse design lists Argyle’s away matches in date order, starting with the visit to Dagenham & Redbridge on Tuesday, August 21.
Both shirts retail at £14.99 and our Battle of the Ports t-shirt £14.99 in medium, large xlarge and xxlarge sizes, while the Road to Rochdale shirt is also available in small.
