Hey, Hey, Rene

GOALKEEPER Rene Gilmartin has become manager Carl Fletcher's second summer signing.

The former Irish under-21 stopper will join the Pilgrims' other new recruit Paris Cowan-Hall when the Argyle squad report back for pre-season training on Wednesday morning.
Rene, 25, joins as a free agent on a two-year deal, having left npower Championship side Watford at the end of last season.
Having started his career with St Kevin's Boys in his native Dublin, Gilmartin moved to Walsall in 2005 to embark on a professional career.
At the Bescott Stadium, Rene became a regular, turning out for the club 50 times in between loan moves to Worcester City and Hednesford Town.
Having gained international recognition with both the Irish under-19s and under-21s, Rene made the move to Watford in 2010 with the hope of furthering his career.
However, the form of England international Scott Loach limited him to just cup appearances and loan spells followed, firstly to Yeovil Town and then to Crawley.
