ARGYLE defender Robbie Williams put pen to paper on his new contract when the Pilgrims' players returned to Home Park for pre-season training on Wednesday.

Willo, 27, agreed a one-year extension to his current deal during the summer and formally completed the paperwork on the opening day of pre-season.
He was joined by youth-team products Jordan Copp, Isaac Vassell and Jed Harper-Penman, who are all Argyle professionals for the first time.
The trio of 18-year-olds, who are were all part our our Football League Youth Alliance title-winning side, have already had experience of first-team football.
Jordan, Isaac and Jed are the last graduates of the current youth scheme and comes at an important time for the Pilgrims as they, along with the rest of the Premier and Football Leagues, implement the requirements of the new Elite Player Performance Plan.
