Scott To Be There

LEFT-back Scott Griffiths has gone from Posh to Pilgrim.

The 26-year-old Peterborough defender has answered Argyle manager Carl Fletcher's call to arms after a spate of unfortunate injuries left him without defensive cover for Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie with Aldershot Town.

London-born Scott began his career with non-league Aveley having spent time with Southend United's Centre of Excellence.

In 2004, he signed for Dagenham & Redbridge and, over the next six years, would make over 200 appearances for the Victoria Road club, helping them to the Nationwide Conference title in 2006.

At the beginning of the 2009-10 season, Griffiths joined Peterborough on loan, signing for them permanently in the January 2010 transfer window.

The next season, Scott enjoyed a loan spell at Chesterfield, playing 33 times for the Spirites as they cruised to the League 2 title.

Last term, he enjoyed a short spell at Crawley followed before a return to the B2Net Stadium, this time for only four games.

He then made eight appearances during a loan spell at Rotherham, before returning to London Road.

Scott will be available up to and including our npower League 2 clash with Burton Albion Tuesday, November 6 and can play in all cup competitions.

He will wear the number 33 shirt.
