Buzzing Baz
20th April 2013
ARGYLE left-back Onismor Bhasera was left thrilled following the Pilgrims fine 2-1 away win at Chesterfield on Tuesday evening.
Baz, 27, was delighted with the way the team performed on the night to leave the Greens on the cusp of Football League safety.“I was absolutely buzzing after that game,” said Baz.
“The lads played very well, I was very happy with the performance of everyone.
“Even the guys who were on the bench, they came on and did the job which is what we need at the stage where we are.”
The Zimbabwe international was also full of praise for the travelling Green Army in attendance at the Proact Stadium on Tuesday.
He said: “The supporters have been very good since the start of the season; they come in numbers to support us away.
"To come 5-6 hours... they still came in numbers and we really appreciate that.”
Argyle are not yet over the finish line but a victory over high-flying Rotherham United at Home Park on Saturday will secure their Football League status, something Onismor recognises.
Baz said: “We have done a bit of the job but there is still a massive job to be done this weekend.
“That’s the most important game of the season this weekend; we have to make sure we collect three points.”
