Crank It Up For Cheltenham

HAVING gone Big For Barnet, the Green Army are being urged to Crank It Up for Cheltenham and help roar Argyle to Football League survival.

The Pilgrims’ last but one home game of the season against Cheltenham Town – on Saturday, April 6 – looks like being key to the Pilgrims’ hopes of avoiding relegation from League 2.

So, just like Big For Barnet, Argyle are offering a trio of special ticket deals to help pack out Home Park, and create a massive noisy, passionate, atmosphere.

In order to encourage as much home support as possible for manager John Sheridan and his team, the Pilgrims are again:

•    Reducing all ticket prices;

•    Allowing all Members to bring in two friends for just £10;

•    Re-introducing, in conjunction with the Herald newspaper, free admission for children to the Family Zone For All.

Big For Barnet attracted a bumper 8,000+ crowd to the Theatre of Greens which proved invaluable in sparking a vital 2-1 come-from-behind win.

It started a run of form which has seen win two and draw one of their four subsequent games, and the club hope that a similar large and fervent attendance cranking up the atmosphere for the Cheltenham game will help keep that form going.

An Argyle spokesman said: “We’ve said it often enough, but it’s well worth repeating that the Green Army is our highly valued 12th man and there is no doubt they have played their part in our recent victories.

“With every point crucial, we need their passionate support right behind John and the lads.

“We want them to Crank It Up for Cheltenham, so we’ve again made it easy for our fans, and their family and friends, to get to the game and get Home Park rocking.”
