Determination And Enthusiasm

ARGYLE defender Onismor Bhasera is looking forward to the visit of Rotherham United, a match in which Argyle can secure their Football League status.

The Pilgrims have won five out of their last seven games and can confirm their npower League 2 survival with victory over the Millers on Saturday.

Left-back Bhasera can feel the confidence flowing through the Argyle team at present.

“We’ve managed to prove ourselves and prove to ourselves that we’re able to do that,” said Baz.

“It’s just being made out of confidence; somebody has put the confidence in us to go out there and just keep everybody together and do the job,”

Included in Argyle’s magnificent run of late are victories over Chesterfield, Cheltenham, Exeter and Southend, who are all themselves battling to get promoted into the division above.

Bhasera insists, though, that Argyle can’t get too carried away with recent results.

He said: “Yeah, we’ve managed to beat all the good teams on top of us. That doesn’t give us the guarantee that we’re going to beat them [Rotherham] though.

“We’ve still got to put in the hard work which we’ve been doing.

“Determination, enthusiasm - everybody has to go in there and make sure we work hard for the next game.

“It’s going to be the big 90 minutes of the whole season so we’re ready for it.”
