The Start Of Something

AFTER two wins on the bounce and a climb to ninth in the Sky Bet League 2 table, it is no wonder that Argyle manager John Sheridan still has his sights firmly set on promotion.
Despite a scrappy second-half performance in Argyle’s 1-0 victory over Rochdale on Saturday, Sheridan still believes his side has what it takes.“If you want to be in the play-offs or promotion you have to win two points a game,” said John.
“We just have to try and get on a run now. We’ve got Morecombe and then two home games.
“We’ve just got to carry on to the Morecombe game and we know what got to improve. We can’t just play for 45 minutes; we’ve got to improve and be solid for the full 90 minutes.
“In the last two or three years they might have lost this game today, being 1-0 up, playing well and you go back out and you concede a goal.
“It hasn’t happened today and that might be a little bit of luck.
“I’m sure Gillingham did it plenty of times where they’ve been out played last season but they went up as champions, it happens in this division.”
