Andy the Ref

ANDY Woolmer will be the official for Argyle's trip to AFC Wimbledon.

The Northamptonshire official has refereed Argyle nine times, and all have been in Devon. He has been the man in the middle on eight occasions at Home Park and once when Argyle visited Exeter, which was the last time he took charge of us. That game was drawn 1-1, and Maxime Blanchard was sent off.

Argyle have won just two of those nine games; the first two, against Leicester and Barnsley. As well as Max against Exeter, he has also previously dismissed Krisztian Timar, in a 2-1 home defeat by Norwich. He has awarded two penalties in Argyle fixtures; one scored by Damien Johnson for Argyle in a 1-1 draw with Preston, and one against converted by Rickie Lambert as Southampton won 3-1 at Home Park.

This season, Mr Woolmer has taken charge of sixteen games. He has issued a moderate 38 cautions, and no red cards. There have been six penalties awarded in his fixtures, five of which have gone to the home side.
