The Name's Bond...

PLYMOUTH Argyle are proud to announce that WH Bond & Sons will remain the club’s Primary Shirt Sponsor for the 2013-2014 season.

The deal will see WH Bond, represented above by Andy Pearce, Laura Broad and Will Evans, sponsor the front of our home and away strips for next season with their Bond Timber brand, as they have done for the past two years.

Argyle’s Commercial Operations Manager James Greenacre said: “I am delighted that WH Bond & Sons have agreed to continue their relationship with Plymouth Argyle for the coming season.

“We are confident that the partnership will assist Argyle in our ambitions for the near future, and will also provide WH Bond with the local and national exposure that their brand rightly deserves.”

WH Bond took the decision to become a major sponsor of Argyle in the summer of 2011, and we are pleased to see their commitment for another 12 months. WH Bond & Sons were established in 1957 as a family farming business.

The company, based in Trerulefoot, farms more than 2,000 acres across South East Cornwall and employs more than 100 people in timber sales, plant hire, machinery sales, civil engineering, landscaping, recycling, agriculture and training.

WH Bond have provided immeasurable assistance to the club, not least of all by creating the dug-outs which adorn the Home Park touchline, and by assisting the Argyle ground staff.

Chris Bond, of WH Bond, said: “We are proud to maintain our association with Plymouth Argyle, and can’t wait to see the new shirts being worn for the first time at Home Park.

“This deal reaffirms our commitment to Argyle and we’re looking forward to seeing John Sheridan take the team to the other end of the table next season.”

The shirts are not available to buy just yet, but the Argyle Superstore at Home Park (01752 558292) is taking orders, and you can also pre-order online at www.argylesuperstore.co.uk.
