Bryan In For Bradford

BRISTOL City midfielder Joe Bryan has signed on loan.

The 19-year-old Bristolian will remain at Home Park for the rest of the season.

A predominantly left-sided player, Joe is happy in midfield or defence and will be available to play in Tuesday night's game with Bradford City.

Bristol born and bred, Joe has made 12 appearances from his hometown club in the npower Championship this term, starting in all but one.

Having joined the Robins' Academy at an early age, Joe made his way through the ranks to sign apprentice forms in 2009.

Despite suffering a broken leg during the second year of his scholarship, Joe graduated to the professional ranks in 2011.

Four games on loan with Blue Square Premier side Bath City followed before a full debut for Bristol City, in a 3-2 win over Leicester City at Ashton Gate in March 2012.

This season, Joe has gone from strength-to-strength, making a dozen npower Championship appearances for the Robins. However, since the arrival of Sean O’Driscoll at Ashton Gate, he has found first chances limited and will now hope to force his way into Argyle manager John Sheridan’s plans.

He will wear the number 18 shirt.
