SATURDAY’S game against Barnet saw the latest meeting between the Argyle Board of Directors and the Plymouth Argyle Supporters Board.
The two boards met before the Pilgrims’ vital 2-1 victory over Edgar Davids’ Londoners, continuing the on-going dialogue between supporters and club officials for which the PAS Board, which set the meeting’s agenda, was established. The PAS Board comprises supporters-elected representatives – a majority of who are members of the Argyle Fans Trust – who are charged with representing fans’ views and providing a constructive challenge to the Argyle Board on key matters; ensuring that fans are kept informed on developments at the club; and assisting the club with community engagement and attraction of new fans.
The meeting was followed by the excellent 2-1 win in front of a magnificent crowd of 8,210, which was referred to with huge respect by the presenters at the Football League Show on Saturday evening.
It was indeed a tremendous turnout by the Green Army, and everyone at the club wants to thank all those who came to the game and gave the team such splendid support.
