Graham the Ref
29th November 2013
OUR referee for this Saturday's game has already taken charge of an Argyle fixture this season.
Graham Salisbury, a Football League referee of 13 seasons, was the man in the middle when Argyle played Birmingham City in the Capital One Cup in August. Argyle lost game 3-2 after extra time, while Mr Salisbury cautioned four players; three from The Blues, and Lewis Alessandra for Argyle. He also awarded City a penalty in that game.Graham has officiated 14 games this season, issuing 39 yellow card and one red. The red card was for Rhys Williams of Middlesbrough, who was dismissed in a lively 3-3 draw with Bournemouth in September. During that game Mr Salisbury gave two penalties - half of his total for the season so far.
Before Birmingham, Mr Salisbury's previous two appointments involving Argyle were the 1-1 draw with Torquay on Boxing Day last season, and the 3-1 defeat at West Bromwich Albion in September 2009.
