In The Hat

JOHN Sheridan expects Argyle to be involved in the second round of the FA Cup next month.

The Pilgrims secured a 0-0 first-round draw away to Skrill Premier League Lincoln City, who will come to Home Park the week after next for a replay to decide which side continues in the competition.

“It’ll be a tough game,” said the Argyle manager, after Saturday’s goal-less encounter, “but our form is not too bad at home – we have got to make sure we get through. We are at home and I expect us to win.

“I would have liked to get the game won today and made life easier but we’re still there and have got to make sure we get the job done at home now.”

“The main thing is we’re still in the hat.”
