Scott For Scunthorpe

REFEREE Graham Scott will take charge of our Sky Bet League 2 clash with Scunthorpe United at Glanford Park on Saturday.

Scott has had a very busy start to the season, showing 17 yellow cards and three reds in just four games.

In his last match, a televised 0-0 Sky Bet Championship draw between Reading and Brighton last weekend, he sent off two players, both within an eight minute period.

In the first-half, he showed a second yellow card to the Royals' Pavel Pogrebnyak for simulation, before evening the numbers with the dismissal of Leonardo Ulloa of Brighton just eight minutes later for a high tackle.

Graham has refereed us three times before in all, including two fixtures last season. Sadly, the Pilgrims have never won with Scott in charge.

We first met him in our midweek 0-0 draw at Dagenham & Redbridge in August, where he booked four players, including Curtis Nelson and Luke Young.

He was then in charge of our 1-0 defeat to Chesterfield  the following November, when he also showed four yellow cards; to Chesterfield's Danny Whitaker, Sam Hird and Jack Lester and to Pilgrims' debutant Mark Molesley.

Before that, his only Argyle fixture was way back in the 2009-10 season when the Pilgrims were defeated by Watford in a Championship fixture at Home Park.

That day, Krisztián Timár, Kári Árnason and David McNamee found themselves in the book.
