Keith the Ref
20th April 2014
Keith Hill is the referee for our Easter Monday game at home to AFC Wimbledon.
Our game against the Dons will be the seventh fixture which he has refereed this season in Sky Bet League 2.Overall, Keith has refereed 35 games this season, dishing out 131 yellow cards and four reds. Hill has given eleven penalties this season, including two on Good Friday in the game between Brentford and Preston. Both spot kicks were awarded to Brentford, for whom former Argyle loanee Alan Judge scored one and missed one.
Hill has refereed Argyle fixtures on six previous occasions. Argyle have won three of these fixtures, one of which was the game in which we beat Chesterfield 7-0 during the 2003/04 Division Two title-winning season.
He sent off Kari Arnason in a 2-1 defeat by Walsall in August 2010 – a game in which Reuben scored the winning goal for the Saddlers. His most recent assignment with Argyle was the 1-0 defeat by Burton Albion last April. He was due to officiate our game with Newport earlier this season before it was rearranged.
