Graham in the Middle

GRAHAM Scott will be the man in the middle for Argyle’s Sky Bet League 2 opener, as the Pilgrims travel to Cambridge on Saturday.

Scott refereed Argyle twice last season, and the Pilgrims failed to win each time. Graham was the ref for the FA Cup third round knockout to League 1 side Port Vale, in which he sent off Vale midfielder Chris Lines. He also was in charge of a 1-0 away loss to Scunthorpe United back in September.

In the five occasions that the Oxfordshire referee has officiated Argyle in competitive fixtures, Argyle have failed to pick up a win. Our only draw was early in the 2012-13 season, away to Dagenham & Redbridge.

Last season, Graham took control of 33 games, issuing 104 yellow cards, sent 11 players off, and awarded 10 penalties over the campaign.

On Saturday, Graham will be assisted by Lisa Rashid and Adrian Sannerude. Christopher O'Donnell is the fourth official.
