Pilgrim Punting - York City

LAST week we flagged up a couple of trends which could have netted you some decent money to spend on your valentine.

We told you that Argyle had scored the last goal in 10 of their previous 15 games and that we were even money with Sky Bet to do again. If you got on that price, you'll know we are now 11 in 16 on that front and you have a slightly heavier wallet this week - or a more pleased partner!

We also called Lewis Alessandra to score anytime (12/5) and to grab the last goal (7/1) so if you stuck with our suggestions last week you'll be feeling pretty happy with yourself - and us - right now! Sure, we got a couple wrong, but overall you'd be in profit.

This week, at home to York City, Argyle are 10/11 with Sky Bet to grab the last goal, so it is a bet worth sticking with.

We think Argyle to win at 13/10 is a decent enough price, but how about going a step further and taking the 11/4 on Argyle winning AND keeping a clean sheet? York have failed to score in four of their last five Sky Bet League 2 games.

Argyle's most in-form player is arguably Conor Hourihane; the skipper has put in some great performances of late and seems to have a little more license to get forward at Home Park. 14/1 on him to score first (or last) seems a value bet, as does the 5/1 on him to score anytime.

Want to be a little more greedy? What about Conor getting the only goal in a 1-0 win? You can get 55/1 on that eventuality.

Worth a quid, right?
