Keeping It Real

THE two-day Plymouth Beer Festival in association with CAMRA (The Campaign for Real Ale) is taking place this Friday and Saturday at the Pavillions.

It is the place to be for all real ale and cider lovers with over 100 real ales and the largest selection of cider and perry in the South West.

Performing on Saturday evening will be Port Isaac's Fisherman's Friends, head down to hear this nine-man group mesh their voices in an incredibly rousing and joyful set of shanties and Cornish folk songs. This year the Beer Festival is supporting local talent with performances from Two Jays Acoustic and The Poet Junkies on the opening night of the festival, with a performance from The Plymouth Ukelele Players getting everyone going early on Saturday evening.

Tickets can be bought (with no booking fees) in advance or on the door. Head to PlymouthPavilions.com for more information.
