Buzz for Shez

The Argyle manager might not have had any games to plan for over the last few weeks but he has not exactly let the grass grow under his feet, with the acquisition of Reuben Reid being the latest in a series of summer preparatory work for the 2014-15 campaign.

He said: “You don’t have time off, as such – as soon as the last game [of the season] finishes, you are always getting ready for the following season. It comes very quickly. The fixtures are out soon and you start getting the buzz for that first game.

“Pre-season is only two or three weeks away; Bhe staff will be in ahead of the first team, making sure we do the best for them. We all know pre-season is very hard, but it’s important to get your fitness because it stands you in good stead for the season.”
