Enoch Approval

ENOCH Showunmi's loan move to Home Park has recieved Football League approval.

A deal was reached between Argyle and Enoch's club, Notts County in the very last moments of the loan window, which ended at 5pm on Thursday, and the 6ft 5in frontman will become a Pilgrim until the end of the season.

The Nigerian international, who has been given the number 29 shirt, will train with his new team-mates on Monday morning as the Pilgrims begin their build-up up for an away-day double-header at Burton on Saturday, April 5, and at Newport on Tuesday, April 8.

Enoch, a 31-year-old Londoner, started his professional career at Luton Town, and made his debut - against Argyle - in 2003. After playing more 100 times for the Hatters, Showunmi moved to Bristol City in 2006. He has since had spells at Sheffield Wednesday, Leeds, Falkirk and Tranmere Rovers.

In the summer of 2011, he was subject to several bids by Notts County, which were all turned down. The Magpies finally got their man the following summer, though, when he joined the Meadow Lane side on a Bosman free transfer.

It is a quick return to the Westcountry for Enoch, who recently enjoyed a seven-game loan spell at neighbours Torquay United

Enoch has two caps for the Nigerian national team.
