ARGYLE will find out their opponents for the next round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy when the second round draw is made on Saturday.
The Pilgrims received a bye for the first round of the competition, and will line up for round two during the week commencing October 7.The draw will take place at approximately 10.10am on Saturday, during Sky Sports' flagship morning sow Soccer AM. The draw is regionalised, with Argyle knowing that their potential opponents will be one of the following teams: Bristol City, Cheltenham, Coventry, Exeter, Northampton, Portsmouth, Newport or Swindon. The last two named will meet on September 23 to determine who progresses to round two.
Last season, Argyle progressed through the first round of the JPT after a thrilling 3-3 draw with Cheltenham concluded with the Greens winning a penalty shoot-out. We would then exit the competition following a 2-1 defeat at Swindon in round two.
