Crowded House
24th April 2015
ARGYLE captain Curtis Nelson is hoping for a big crowd at Home Park on Saturday to help boost the Pilgrims' play-off push.
Curtis and his team-mates meet bottom-placed Tranmere Rovers this weekend, with a win likely to enhance the team's aspirations of ending the season in the top seven of Sky Bet League 2. It is the final game of the regular season to take place at the Theatre of Greens, and if the place is rocking, it is sure to spur the lads on.
"Hopefully it will be the biggest [crowd] of the season so far." said Nelson. "We need all the support we can get from the fans.
"We can't thank the fans enough for the support they've given us the whole way through the season, home and away.
"I expect if the weather's great it will be a great day for fans that haven't necessarily been to a game yet this season, so it will be a really good game.
"We were in [Tranmere's] position a few seasons ago so we know what it's like. We've got to look after ourselves, do what we need to do and get the win."
