Argyle v Newport - Join Us
28th August 2015
SHALL we start with the good news or the bad news?
Let us start with the bad news, because there is less of it. After Saturday, there is not another Argyle match at Home Park for three weeks. Boo!
The good news, though, is that Argyle sit third in the Sky Bet League 2 table at this early stage, having won three of our four league matches so far.

It does not stop there - Derek Adams' lads have scored in every game played; only one side in the division has scored more goals; and only two players in the whole division have scored more goals than Graham Carey and Jake Jervis, who have three goals each so far.
Graham and Jake adorn our latest poster, seen below, which is a reminder to all that Newport County are our latest visitors to Home Park. Please print it off, put in your window, share it with mates, splash it on social media - whatever you feel.
We hope you will join us at Home Park on Saturday. You may get a first glimpse at our new loan player, Oscar Threlkeld, who signed on Thursday. Derek Adams spoke of his pleasure of signing the Bolton Wanderers defender, and here is what the manager had to say about visitors Newport.
It promises to be an exciting afternoon, with former Pilgrim Zak Ansah leading the Newport attack, and Derek's old friend and nemesis Terry Butcher in the opposition dugout.
More importantly, though - the Green Army in the Theatre of Greens, singing us home.
