Peninsula League - Argyle 0 Plymstock 1

ARGYLE lost their unbeaten record in the Peninsula League on Saturday - and the defeat was down to a Club employee.

Ryan Yeoman works for the Argyle Community Trust through the week before donning his Plymstock United hat on the weekend, and his winner was an absolute screamer that will give him deserved bragging rights in the corridors of Home Park.

The Pilgrims played some lovely football at times and Plymstock were forced to defend with dogged determination but the absence of Tyler Harvey and Louis Rooney, who were both on first-team duty, left Argyle unable to convert a number of promising situations.

Full credit, however, to Plymstock for a superb display and the strike from Yeoman was extra special, thundering in a low strike from distance to give the U’s a fourth win out of four outings this season.
