THE Peninsula journey continued with a fourth straight win for Argyle and the 2-1 margin was perhaps a little kind on the visitors from Dobwalls.

Louis Rooney opened the scoring with an excellent individual effort and Argyle had to work hard in breaking down a very defensive formation from the visitors, but when Ryan Lane doubled the advantage just before half-time, it was virtually game over.

The scoreline was given a flattering gloss by Ricky Harris pulling one back for Dobwalls in the second period, although the goal stemmed from goalkeeper Jordan Stidson losing his footing at the vital moment.

The Pilgrims recovered quickly and thoroughly deserved the three points that ensure a 100% start to the League season continues in the Peninsula League Division 1 West.
