Sebastian in Charge

SATURDAY'S referee, as Argyle meet Carlisle United at Blackburn Rovers' Ewood Park ground, is Sebastian Stockbridge.

Sebastian is in his third season officiating in the Football League. He has taken charge of one previous Argyle fixture; that was in November 2013, when we drew 1-1 at York City, with Tope Obadeyi scoring Argyle's goal. That day three Pilgrims were cautioned - Rommy Boco, Guy Branston and Curtis Nelson.

This season, Sebastian has refereed 16 games, showing 56 yellow cards and sending off three players. The first came in Carlisle's 3-1 win, after extra time, in the Capital One Cup first round, where he sent off Chesterfield's Emmanuel Dieseruvwe. His other two reds both came in Portsmouth's 3-1 win at Cambridge in October.
