Better The Devil You Know

ANDY Kellett has a double reason to smile this week.

A day after the left wing-back joined Manchester United on loan from Bolton Wanderers, his wonderful solo goal at Northampton Town has been named Argyle's goal of the year for 2014.

The 21-year-old scored his first goal in senior football with a scintillating run and finish at Sixfields in December - a goal that received over 90% of the votes cast. This goal will now go forward to be judged alongside the best goals from each of the other 71 clubs in the Sky Bet Football League.

These goals will then be whittled down to ten, then five, by virtue of votes of Sky Sports' Soccer AM, before the winner is announced at the annual Football League Awards evening in April.

He may have chosen the Red Devils over the Green Army, but we will never tire of seeing the goal. So here it is again.

Good luck at Old Trafford, Andy. Once a Pilgrim, always a Pilgrim.
