Graham in the Middle
20th February 2015
GRAHAM Scott will take charge of the second Devon Expressway Derby of the season, when Argyle make the short trip to Exeter City this weekend.
Since 2009, Graham has overseen five matches that Argyle have been a part of, resulting in four defeats and one draw for the Greens.Six years ago, he was at Home Park when a single goal from Manchester United loanee Tom Cleverley allowed Watford to take all three points. Graham also officiated Argyle’s goalless League 2 draw with Dagenham & Redbridge in 2012 and a 1-0 defeat away to Scunthorpe a season later.
Graham's most recent visit to the Theatre of Greens was for last season’s FA Cup Third Round replay against Port Vale. Despite sending off Vale midfielder Chris Lines and Argyle midfielders Andres Gurrieri and Conor Hourihane netting, the visitors ran out 3-2 winners. The Oxfordshire ref also officiated the Pilgrims’ first game of this season – a 1-0 defeat to Cambridge United, in which the home side were awarded a penalty that was saved by Luke McCormick.
Graham has refereed 32 games this season handing out 102 yellow cards, averaging just over three cards per fixture, as well as showing two red cards.
Scott will be assisted by Chris Powell and Timothy Wood on the touchlines.
