Room For Everyone
5th February 2015
THE week of surprise comings and goings at Home Park continued on Thursday.
Following former Pilgrims’ left wing-back Andy Kellett’s late swerve to Manchester United, Reds left-winger Ed Miliband arrived at Devon and Cornwall's premier football club. The local Labour Party hired the club’s Tribute Legends Lounge on normal commercial terms to book their leader in for a private question and answer session with invited guests.
Being strictly apolitical, Argyle is keen to work closely with all elected politicians – locally and nationally – and would be pleased to host Conservative leader David Cameron, the leader of the Liberal Democrats, Nick Clegg, UKIP leader Nigel Farage and – of course – the leader of the Green Party, Natalie Bennett to Home Park over the next few months for similar events.
