Special Compression Making Big Impression

A CORNWALL company has been helping the Pilgrims maintain their Sky Bet League 2 promotion push, and gaining valuable research material at the same time.

The Argyle players have been using DM Orthotics’ special compression pants to help with groin discomfort, and rated them a big success.

Argyle Head Physiotherapist Paul Atkinson said: “Leanne Sawle, who is the Research and Development lead at DMO, is studying for a PhD at Plymouth University, researching the effects of compression pants on groin pain and groin stability.

“Curtis Nelson, Dominic Blizzard and Reuben Reid have participated in the research, using these compression garments.

“Leanne’s research is all about the effects of the garments and the players have found they have been really beneficial in reducing their long-term groin pain.”
