Back In The Saddle

ARGYLE, Argyle Community Trust, and the Green Taverners will once again be pedalling for pounds...

...when we cycle from Wembley Stadium to Plymouth prior to our home game against Tranmere Rovers on April 25.

We want fans to join us to raise thousands of pounds by getting on their bike and cycling from Wembley Stadium to Home Park.

The Pilgrims entertain Tranmere on Saturday, April 25th and want keen cyclists to take to the saddle to cover the 220-mile trip to Home Park in the days leading up to the match and raise funds for Argyle Community Trust, Argyle Youth Academy and Prostate Cancer UK.

You can download an information pack and entry form from www.argylecommunitytrust.co.uk or pick it up from the main reception at Home Park.

Gary Maguire, of the Green Taverners, said: “We have been working with Argyle over the past four years to help raise funds for a number of initiatives. Following the success of the first cycle ride earlier this year we once again would like to take part in an event that benefits some great causes.

“Whilst we have developed a committee, we are also looking for companies and people to help with the organization, as well as for participants to enter. “

Anyone who would like to sign up for the event or help in any way at all from April 22-25 should make contact with Argyle Community Trust Manager, Mark Lovell or Jo Yorke, at  community@pafc.co.uk.
