ARGYLE are in wait-and-see mode after Peter Hartley’s comeback from injury ended prematurely during the Pilgrims’ 0-0 Sky Bet League 2 draw at York City.
The Greens’ vice-captain missed the recent games against Dagenham & Redbridge, Newport County and Oxford United because of a groin problem, but returned at Botham Crescent along with captain Curtis Nelson, who was also absent for the Christmas triple-header after dislocating an elbow at Northampton. While Curtis made it to the end of their comeback game, Peter limped out of proceedings at the end of the first-half.
“It’s re-occurred,” said manager John Sheridan afterwards. “We wanted Nelse and Pete back after the last couple of results but the tempo of the game probably just caught up with Pete.
“We’ll just have to assess him and see how he is.”
